Small and near-perfectly formed
consumer PR agency.

Set up in 2008 by Martin Ballantine, founder of Revolver
Communications - architect of campaigns for the likes of
Ben & Jerry’s, Chrysler, Giant Bikes, Green & Blacks, PG Tips,
Red Stripe, Sharwoods, Stolichnaya, Thunderbirds and XFM.

piracy brand experience

Honest, straightforward and packed
with creative ideas that help drive business.

Equally at home with traditional and digital PR.
Also adept at creating newsworthy experiential and sponsorship activity.
Staffed by senior people, here in East Sussex and London. Supported by a network of experienced freelancers - Click here to meet a few.
Office set in 300 acres of farmland, 2 staff commute by mountain bike and our unofficial mascot is Adam, the UK’s only ‘Zeedonk’ -
we kid you not.

But – we’re not far from our cosmopolitan roots
(30 minutes to London Bridge/40 to Charing Cross) and are often found at ‘One Alfred Place’, near Goodge Street.
Projects since launch: dozens of hard-nosed
consumer media campaigns; several experiential
sampling executions; Social Media training
and a ‘How To’ template; sponsorship and
amplification of two national sports awards;
a blueprint for a multi-channel consumer website
and several trade media launches (Sport and FMCG sectors).

Past moments of glory

We've variously and lovingly:

Slices of our life

Adam the Zeedonk

Achieved a phenomenal amount of product reviews for Skins; sponsored the 220 Awards for Taut; created an Edinburgh Fringe-style show for Coors; sponsored/amplified 3 world championships for Ben & Jerry’s (Bog Snorkelling, Conkers or Toe Wrestling anyone?); got ‘FAB’ into the dictionary for Thunderbirds;
created and PR'd cocktails for Orangina; developed a Music Festival event for Gaymers (as well as managing the Social Media around it) and created coverage for Chang's Thai cookbook. There’s also a special place in our hearts for ideas which saw McVitie’s Jaffa Cakes selling-out in Sainsburys - but more on that if we meet up.

piracy corporation moments of glory

Unofficial agency mascot. Must be lonely being the only one of your kind in the country. Lives down the road in leafy Groombridge Place.

Tunbridge Wells

Nearest main town. Gets a bum rap, but constantly surprises us with great events/gigs. Besides which, the hometown of Subbuteo can’t be all bad can it? Especially when The Undertones sang about it (the game, not the town).

Mountain Bike

Preferred mode of commuting.
Eight miles that are great on a good day and, well, even on a bad day, come to think of it.
